6:00 pm - MY NORMAL
Pro dommes, like most sex workers, are sometimes misunderstood. Natalie (Nicole LaLiberte), a twentysomething lesbian dominatrix, and her friends, all work together in one fictitious upper-crust New York City dungeon, and struggle to make sense of their desires and their dreams. Underneath all the paraphernalia of this world, My Normal is a simple coming of age story with the right dash of romantic comedy.
Directed by Irving Schwartz - USA, 77 Mins., DigiBeta

8:00 pm - Undertow (Contracorriente)
In Spanish with English subtitles
León Miguel and Mariela are a happily married couple, looking forward to the imminent arrival of their first child. Yet Miguel also carries on a clandestine affair with handsome drifter Santiago, a painter of sensual nudes who is euphemistically referred to as “Prince Charming” by the village gossips. As the story takes an otherworldly turn and enters into the realm of magical realism, Miguel confronts and accepts his dual nature. This year’s official submission for Oscar contention from Peru enchants with unforgettable seascapes.

10:30 pm - HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH
How else could we follow last year’s Rocky Horror sell -out than with another outrageous choice Hedwig and the Angry Inch? Follow Hedwig, (nee Hansel) in East Berlin, who falls in love with an American G.I. and undergoes a sex-change operation in order to marry him and flee to the West. Unfortunately, nothing works out quite as it was supposed to. Years later, Hedwig is leading her rock band on a tour of the U.S., telling her life story through a series of concerts at Bilgewater Inn seafood restaurants. Her tour dates coincide with those of arena-rock star Tommy Gnosis, a wide-eyed boy who once loved Hedwig... but then left with all her songs.
Written and directed by John Cameron Mitchell - 95 mins. 35mm
